On a job post, selecting Request to Book creates a pending offer and notifies the poster. The poster then accepts or declines from the offers list on that job.

Acceptance marks that offer as accepted, declines other pending offers for that job, and sets the job status to filled.

For offer-based jobs, contact handoff appears after acceptance and liability waiver steps. For scheduled booking flows, the booking detail page is where the other party's phone is shown.

No. Coordination happens through WhatsApp or SMS deep links once handoff is allowed. The app records the workflow, but it is not an in-app chat thread.

The WhatsApp channel is a read-only announcement stream with the same kinds of posts as Updates on the site: jobs, rides, forum, tools, lost & found, events, and shiurim. On the web, open Updates to browse the feed (about the last three months) and optional browser notifications. To get the same headlines in WhatsApp, open that page and use Join WhatsApp Channel at the top. The channel is not a private inbox for chatting with neighbors; one-to-one coordination still happens through your listing or booking flows.

No. The platform uses external channels (WhatsApp/SMS/phone/email) after the relevant flow permits contact.

Reviews are allowed after a booking is completed, and they must be submitted within 30 days of completion.

Reviews use blind reveal. Each side submits independently, and both become visible once both parties have submitted.

You can update your own review only while it is still unrevealed. Once reviews are revealed to both parties, editing is no longer allowed.

Provider reviews are shown publicly once revealed (and if not hidden by moderation). Client feedback contributes to provider-facing whisper signals rather than a public client rating board.

Users can report eligible public provider reviews. Moderation can hide a review from public summaries/lists or dismiss reports.

Choose a category on Marketplace: Selling (requires price and condition), Giving Away, or ISO ("in search of"). You can add up to five photos for selling or giving away, and one photo for ISO. Selling and giving-away listings default to seven days active; you can pick a different duration when posting.

If two different people report the same listing within one hour, it can be placed under review and hidden from the public feed until a moderator resolves it.

At least one photo or video, address, available-from date, rent amount, and a contact name. Title and description are required. Create a listing from Post a rental.

You choose thirty, sixty, or ninety days when you create the listing. You can renew within the last seven days before expiry; renewal extends by the same duration you originally chose.

No. Viewings, applications, and lease paperwork happen off the site using the contact information on the listing.

Use Mark as Rented on your listing detail page. You can also withdraw a listing, which makes it private. Manage listings from My rentals.

On a borrowable item in the Tool Library, pick the dates you need. A booking is created right away; there is no owner approval step. Both you and the owner see the booking on the site.

The borrower confirms check-out when they pick up the item. The owner confirms check-in when it is returned. Either side can cancel while the booking is still in booked status.

Yes. Owners can set an optional daily rate when listing; zero means free to borrow. Payment, if any, is arranged outside the app.

The Tool Library uses dated bookings with check-out and check-in. The Gemach is a directory: you contact the gemach directly without a booking flow on the site.

Drivers post recurring carpool routes with origin, destination, days, departure time, and how many seats they have. There is no in-app seat reservation; riders reach out through Rides using the contact options on the listing.

On the ride detail page, if the poster has a phone or has email notifications enabled, you will see WhatsApp, SMS, or email links with a prefilled message.

You can toggle the listing active or inactive from your ride, cancel it entirely, or renew before it expires. New rides default to about a year of visibility and can be renewed for another year.

Community happenings such as gatherings, programs, and volunteer opportunities—not commercial sales listings. Browse and post on Events.

Signed-in users can RSVP to events that have not started yet. The organizer can see who RSVPed. RSVP closes once the event start time has passed.

Yes. The list includes both upcoming and past events, ordered by start time.

A recurring Torah class or lecture: name, maggid (teacher) if provided, location, weekday schedule, time, description, and optional contact fields. See Shiurim.

Only the member who created the listing can edit or delete it. There is no built-in sign-up or RSVP for shiurim.

The site sends an annual reminder so listings stay accurate. Confirming that the shiur is still running resets that reminder cycle.

Times are aggregated from Godaven and similar sources. Community members do not add or edit minyan times in the app. Open the Minyanim page to view the schedule.

Yes. Use the filters on the Minyanim page for Shacharit, Mincha, Maariv, or special minyanim, and pick the date you want to view.

A gemach is a free or low-cost lending or help service. The directory combines curated entries with community-submitted listings for clothing, equipment, services, and more.

Each row shows phone, email, or website when available. Reach out directly; the site does not route messages for gemachs. Browse the Gemach directory.

Signed-in members can submit a new entry with category, item or service name, and optional contact details. Editors can update or merge certain curated rows.

Start from Lost & Found, choose Lost or Found, then add a title and description. You can drop a map pin for where the item was lost or found and attach up to five photos.

Posts default to ninety days. You can renew in the last fourteen days before expiry for another ninety days.

Open your post and set the outcome (for example returned to owner or claimed). The post is then marked inactive and is no longer shown as open.

Other signed-in members see contact options on your listing, similar to marketplace listings—WhatsApp or SMS when you have a phone on file, or email when you allow email notifications.

Verified is set by site staff after extra identity checks beyond ordinary sign-up. It is a trust signal on your public profile.

You can list up to two personal references on your profile. When both names are filled in, others may see a two-references trust signal alongside other profile cues.

Moderators can suspend accounts for guideline violations. You may see a short reason on the account suspended screen. Use the contact path your community provides to appeal.

If you create several posts within about a minute, the site may require a Turnstile captcha to reduce spam. After you pass, posting continues as usual.

A short automatic lock (about ten minutes) can apply if the captcha step is missed or failed repeatedly. Wait for it to clear, or ask an administrator for help if it persists.

Certain fields are scanned for profanity and similar policy issues before save. Blocked wording shows an error instead of publishing the post.
